Welcome to be.wild.er farm!
be.wild.er farm began in 2016 as a one-acre market farm in Natrona Heights focused on growing a diverse array of vegetables in a sustainable manner. Our farm is people powered, relying mostly on hand tools and a small walk behind tractor. This scale keeps us close to what we grow and who we feed, and allows us to focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The use of organic practices has been at the heart of our operation since its inception; we view growing food as an act of nourishing ourselves, our community, and the land.
Over the years, the farm has expanded a bit as we’ve continued to focus on growing delicious, sustainable food. We currently farm on 3 acres in the same location and have broke ground on a small urban plot in 2025 in Wilkinsburg where we grow a small variety of flowers and herbs. The urban plot also houses our seedling greenhouse and our wash pack station.
2025 has been a very transitional year for us at be.wild.er…. click below to learn more about our current transition and our farm crew and please sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date with our farm!
